The Magic Fish premiered at Portland's 2020 Fertile Ground Festival. It follows the story of a little boy who does not heed his mom's call nor to convention and meets with his own adventures, only to return home wiser. The story is informed by the Irish fairy tale Soul Cages, Punch and Judy techniques of historic puppetry and contemporary mask and mime. Leaven Dream Puppets created and produced this show with original cast, script, set and choreography.

Performance runs 30 minutes with 15 minutes to meet the puppets. Suitable for ages 3 and up.
